Dear Friends and Neighbors in Water Mill and Bridgehampton,
By signing this petition you are trying to save 4 MILES of our scenic back roads from LIPA\'s new massive 48 to 60 foot poles with 5-inch thick cables.
We must show the Southampton Town Board that residents are willing to contribute toward burying these cables.
PETITION TO SOUTHAMPTON TOWN BOARD
We request that 100% of the new LIPA cables are buried.
We would be willing to pay a tax of $20 annually per $Million of assessed property value to bury 4 miles of new 5-inch thick LIPA cables to save our scenic back roads and a needed hurricane escape route.
