Please sign the petition from Committee for a Green South Fork, and spread the word to all your friends and neighbors. Tell the Southampton Town Board we want to invest in burying LIPA's new thick transmission cable and save the South Fork's scenic back roads from new massive poles.

Dear Southampton Town Board Members:

Please save 4 MILES of the South Fork's scenic back roads from LIPA's new massive poles (42-60 feet tall and 22-30 inches wide).

We want the Town to invest in burying 100% of the new LIPA cables - No New Massive Poles!

We would pay an assessment of $20 (annually) per $Million of assessed property value to cover the cost to bury LIPA's thick distribution cable - to protect a hurricane escape route; to preserve our property values; to save the South Fork's scenic back roads.
