We the undersigned, request that Orange & Rockland utility company bury their electrical lines and stop using raised telephone poles in Rockland County.  Telephone poles are an antiquated form of installation that jeopardize the safety and security of our citizens.  Burying the electrical lines will result in fewer power outages from wind storms, snow storms, rain storms, sleet and other forces of nature as well as from telephone pole related accidents.  Downed power lines risk the health and safety of all of us, especially our children. 

Orange & Rockland utility company needs to take steps to make the delivery of our energy through or streets as safe and secure as possible.
