The government is ignoring the environmental necessity of protecting Burns Bog and we have to force their hand now. We are about to hit one hundred signatures so push this link out to everyone you know to show these officials we aren't going away.

Protecting Burns Bog's important natural ecosystem from development is not only critical for the health & future of all Lower Mainland's human residents, it is critical to prevent extinction of the precious wild species wholly dependent on this now-fragile habitat. We count on our government to uphold the integrity of wildlife habitats per Canada's Species at Risk act, via enforceable legislation & strict environmental assessment procedures..
Keep this place wild. We already lost too much of the bog to development.
Hope this happens. It really is unique and needs real protection before its gone for good.
So much history here. UNESCO status makes total sense to keep it protected from greedy developers.
