Comments: LEAGALIZE IT!!! One acre of Cannibis can produce 4x's more paper than an acre of tress. Cannibis can produce 4x's more cellulose than corn stalk. Cellulose is used to make methanol which is used to power up cars. Hemp can reduce or even eliminate the dependency on oil. Therefore, LEAGALIZE IT!

Comments: I have always felt that marijuana should be legalized. It is no worse than alcohol or tobacco. By legalizing it, with the government so big into taxing people, they would have another source to tax. Marijuana is relaxing and very seldom do you hear of someone being loud, obnoxious, or beligerent from smoking marijuana. Most people who drink are very loud, and all they want to do is fight someone, or play sex tag in front of God and everybody because all of a sudden they are unbeatable and totally sexy. Generally they are wrong. I truly don't know if an actual study has been done, but I would be curious to know how many people are killed by a person who has smoked marijuana and is driving compared to the people who are drinking and/or drunk while driving. There would probably be a lot of surprised people in the United States. BUT.... Alcohol is legal to buy for anyone over 21 (ages vary by states)and even possessing it is fine at any point, BUT.... if you smell like you might have been anywhere near a Marijuana Cigarette, the law enforcement can deem that you are in Possession of Marijuana, and you best watch out, you will be searched and if you have one joint (and I have been told by law enforcement officers, that if they find even a seed on you, you can be arrested for drugs, treated like you are have created the crime of the century, and from there on out, you are generally considered a dealer, a crack house, etc. Then you are watched and basically stalked although the police get to call it surveillance, for however long it takes to totally screw up your life, simply because of rumors and inuendos. The government would be at a great advantage as then they could tax the hell out of us, and empty up a lot of beds in the jails and prisons for the ones that shuold really be there. I am totally against legalizing any other type of what has been classified 'drugs'. I am no expert by any means, but I am intelligent enough to know that these hardcore drugs definetly can totally mess up and/or destroy you and your life. Those that deal with these drugs are the ones that those beds should be used for. Most of them are good people just messed up with the wrong thing, but there are the ones that sell or give it to young teens and younger children. Maybe Mom and Dad do the drugs and the kids steal or they are given the parent's drugs. There are so many ways a child can get the hardcore drugs, and the devastation that comes next has got to be one of the saddest things in the world to become aware of and especially have to live it yourself. Then you have the adults and sooner or later, there is going to be tragedy in some form. Marijuana is a plant that grows in the ground just as ginseng and goldenroot does, but the latter two are legal. Marijuana has been prescribed for certain illnesses, and you can buy ginseng and goldenroot at any store that sells vitamins, so therefore these are also for making you feel better, so why the difference. Marijuana is illegal, but any other plant is legal. YES! Marijuana most definetly should be legalized!! The farmers would have a new kind of crop to consider, now don't you think
