    Comments: The breed clubs and council should own the breed standards not the Kennel Club so they can alter them as they feel without any prior consultation! The KC should concentrate on making sure all breeders are GOOD breeders.

    Comments: I think the KC have acted without even thinking about the Bulldog, we all love our bulldogs dearly and we should not have the new standard at all we need the old standard, as this is so silly we dont want a boxer otherwise we would go and breed them, please dont take the bulldog away.     Comments: I believe that all breed should be vet checked before being bred from and only puppies that come from those parents should be registered, this can be achieved by a two tier system, the puppies from un-vetted parents can only be registered as such this 2nd tier could be phased out over time. Changing the Standard is not the answer it will only cause more problems as it will be miss interpretated.

    Comments: I give my backing to this petition 100%, i have stated these facts in my web-site for many years. For a pup to be registered with the kennel club the rules should be rigid, each pup should carry a breed council certificate, microchiped, and a full certified health check, only then should registration take place. The kennel club is a joke, why all of a sudden are they moving the goal pots when on the programme PEDIGREE EXPOSSED they defended their actions for all these years, pathetic.     Comments: I have a very good friend who is a breeder. I am signing in support of her and other dedicated breeders. I have seen first hand the work that goes into breeding the highest quaility Bulldogs and would say if any of her dogs were either unhealthly or destressed in any way, she wouldnt put herself through the hard work and commitment let alone the dogs.
