Building a Future for Consett The townspeople of Consett have waited for thirty years for some redevelopment. It has been agreed that there will be a state of the art new secondary school, a new leisure centre and a new ground for Consett Football team. Unfortunately, all of this is on hold.There are claims that the people of Consett do not want the multi million pound development because of where it is positioned. We want the people of Consett to challenge this and support our campaign to get this development started! We are calling on the people of Consett to sign our petition and remind everyone involved that the we deserve these new facilities and that we want the contractors to START THE BUILD to secure a 21st century future for our children, and the future generations of the town of Consett.
