Making this petition to hopefully get a new skatepark in the stony brook - setauket area. For scooters skateboards and bikesAs of now the closest skateparks are over 40 minutes away, one being mastic skatepark and the other being green lawn skatepark. It is very hard for kids to get to those skateparks. There is no way to get to mastic skatepark unless you can drive and even then parents have work and do not want to make the journey, Green lawn as well. Yes you can take the train but It costs alot of money every time and it really hard for parents to keep giving there kids money, and even then It takes around 40 minutes. We can't even ride in our local town without being threatened about being arrested, or being screamed at for doing what we love.
