Comments: Grade deflation discourages students. It is very frustrating when you don't get the grade you deserve.

Comments: I am a senior at BU and I am graduating with just barely a 3.0 despite the fact that I have worked hard throughout my 4 years here at BU. Grade deflation needs to stop!

Comments: The grades we "earn" more often misrepresent our knowledge and potential than they reflect them. Students deserve grades that are representative of the work they have put in and the knowledge they have acquired. It is not fair to assume there are a certain amount of above-average, average, or below-average students in every class.

Comments: The nice thing is, below a 2.0 is failing out. So...if you get all average (IE a C) grades...you're just on the border..one slightly lower than average class and you fail out. Thats pretty bad when you're giving half of the students grades that could cause them to be thrown out of school.

Comments: That's not right at all, students should earn the grades that they deserve, that don't depend on what the university wants to acheive with its reputation.
