We had a great meeting with Northern Rail, Lancashire County Council and Transport for Greater Manchester last week. They are all fully supportive of setting up a customer backed petition to improve services and gain more carriages for some of the worst lines. 3 of the most overcrowded and struggling services travel through Salford crescent. Please sign the petition to have a shout of gaining new carriages for these worst lines when electrification happens over the next few years and generally improve services.
This would be crucial for the long term economic development Manchester City Centre and the surrounding conurbation and local universities.
