Name: Zane Higgs on Sep 4, 2007Comments: I don't see why Data and Network Apprentices should be paid less than other Apprentices and the people that we are currently working with as we will have more skills than the people we are currently working with, as we will have knowledge and maintainance skills on both legacy and next generation networks as well as other skills such as construction. We will have a large range of skills rather than specific to one system and we will also be covering far greater areas than current maintainance employees. Data and Networks Technicians are the future of BT's maintainance and do a job just as important, if not more so in particular aspects, than the jobs of certain other BT Apprentice groups that will assimilate at C3 such as Power, Network Control and Planning.Flag

Name: Robin Parish on Sep 4, 2007Comments: It's unfair that other apprentices are being graded as C3, whereas we are being graded as B2, despite the fact that all the people we work with performing the roles we will be performing when we finish our apprenticeship are C3 grade.Flag

Name: Michael Mabbott on Sep 4, 2007Comments: Firstly I do not agree that apprentices should be coming out at the same level as people with much more experience and skills. Personally I thought all apprentices should come out as BT, except for jobs with more health and safety regulations. But the field force has just as much skills and as much workload as other areas, and I think it unfair that they are the only role to be degraded. As stated, its degrading.Flag
