| 102 | yousaf iqbal | i do not agree with this proposed deal. you can count on my familys support |

| 104 | Sarah Thomas | On the houses - Why all of a sudden do we need 400 houses plonked on a beautiful piece of land destroying the homes of animals and wildlife - which is scarce anyway - and losing probably one of the only green wedge sites around this area!
On cars and traffic - 400 houses = 800 cars. On average each household will have at least 2 cars each. It is difficult enough to get out of the village in the mornings with congestion - between the schools traffic and Cadoxtons traffic it's a nightmare! Why on earth would anyone want to increase the amount of road traffic and congestion, and triple the amount of problems on the roads? As it is Ysgol Hendre will have at least 50 more taxis dropping off and picking children up everyday with the new development, what has posesed people to even think about building!!!!!! |
| 105 | MR. C. E. WOODS | Let's just keep it green, shall we?
Enough of the sprawling expansion already provided onto green field sites in and around Bryncoch. We have had all we can take of traffic build-up to full capacity and beyond and the stretching of available services and resources.
We need more untouched areas both for ourselves for recreation and relaxation and for the wildlife. Find an area other than Bryncoch, e.g. a former industrial site- there must be plenty around in addition to Llandarcy because there is now precious little industry remaining hereabouts.
What do you expect us to do? - Sit back and say nothing? Not this time. YOU MUST BE JOKING!
Don't forget, if you build on it ther will never be any going back, all you will have to show posterity for your efforts will be acre after acre of boring, featureless,, cramped modern development which would inevitably be identical to numerous estates elsewhere both in this area and across the country. |

| 108 | Michael Williams | I have lived at the lower end of Penywern road for about 8 years and have noted the massive increase of traffic. In my work as a Vehicle Examiner for the Department for Transport I attend fatal traffic accidents, and as the level of traffic grows the likely hood of a serious accident along Penywern Road grows exponentially. So what are our elected councillors and politicians doing, well they are probably counting the extra 200+ poll taxes. |
| 109 | corinne Evans | Bryncoch is one of the last "real" villages left - why ruin it by turning it into another concrete jungle? Saving the countryside is more important than making a quick profit! |

| 117 | kathryn jacobi | The road through our village is terrifying enough as it is, the increased traffic which is inevitable with this kind of development will only serve to make matters worse. |

| 119 | marilyn john | HOW CAN ANYONE NOT SEE THE BEAUTY OF THIS AREA.I HAVE LIVED IN THIS AREA FOR 21yrsAND HAVE WATCHED IT CHANGE FROM A LOVELLY VILLAGE INTO A NIGHTMARE VILLAGE.DO NOT DESTROY OUR COUNTRYSIDE.HANDS OFF! |
| 120 | wendy yarranton | Building houses that we don't need would destroy the local landscape and affect the wildlife. |
| 121 | Alison Benson | No more traffic please! |
| 122 | David Andrew Lane | We already have enough houses in the Neath area |
| 123 | William Owen | |
| 124 | anne jones | We have enough through traffic as it is please do not add to our already congested roads. Enough is enough |
| 125 | Anonymous | I agree with the anonymous writer No.99 on page 2 of this petition lets stop the name calling & stick to the facts. Also in answer to his question "why do they want to build more houses when 4000 are going to be built at llandarcy?" the factual answer is that 6000 houses are needed to be built in Neath Port Talbot area. Please let common sense have a say and lets stop telling people to go to this mythical somewhere else otherwise the Bryncoch Farm action group are going to look like the foolish NIMBY types that some are accusing us of being |
| 126 | Anonymous | THE WORLD NEEDS GREEN SPACES AND NOT MORE CONCRETE. The world also needs petrol at £20 a gallon and more busses and certainly no car users complaining that the roads are full of cars. If you want to pretend you are doing this for "green" causes you must walk the walk not just talk the talk unless you intend to look selfish and stupid. Would it be possible for someone with at least some common sense please take over this campaign before we all get known as Bryncoch and the village of fools |

| 140 | Darroch Lyon | Keep up the good work, a historic site that should be valued not destroyed |
| 141 | wynn owen | this land is to good to lose to the urban sprawl that is neath.our planners should hang their heads in shame for thinking about housing on this site |

| 143 | Jeremy Hughes | The proposed development would, in my opinion create a MAJOR traffic nightmare through Bryncoch and its surrounding areas. It would be a catastrophe if this area of beautiful countryside was ruined. |
| 144 | Mrs Julie Mallinson | |
| 145 | Lowri Mulligan | I think the idea of a nature reserve is brill because childen will have a wonderful place to look at all the insects and animals that live around us |
| 146 | Jeffrey Page | I back the Bryncoch Action Committee fully and I strongly appose this developement.
I don't feel as though the infrastucture of the area can support a construction of such a large developement. The roundabout at the bottom of Penywern road can hardly deal with traffic at present during the rush hours, Not to mention the the devestaion that would be caused to such a beautiful area. |
| 147 | Clive Page | Good luck, I support the Brycoch action committee.
As usual, another ill thought out council plan. |
| 148 | Linda Page | Don't spoil the area, build elsewhere not on Green Wedge.
Good Luck. |
