| 60 | Dylan Griffiths | I used to spend a lot of time in this area, walking my dog, fishing in the river, and swimming in the sam pool where Wallace learned to Swim. It is too beautiful an area to turn over to executive houses. The yuppies just don't deserve it. |
| 61 | Mrs Marilyn Croft | I believe that because of the importance of the wild life, the historical connection and the beauty of the area it would be criminal for it to become just another housing project. In fact the infrastructure of the whole of the Bryncoch, Rhos, Rhyddings, Caewern and Cadoxton area would become a complete grid lock with hundreds upon hundreds of new vehicles on the already dreadfully conjested roads!!! |
| 62 | Gary Uncles | This local area we live in has many beautiful parts that are enjoyed by the local residents. In the thirty years I have lived here there has been an erosion of the local country side by new developments. the impact of these developments has seen increased traffic making journeys longer and more frustrating and also a lose of that real rural feeling that came with living in Bryncoch. |

| 64 | Shirley Evans | As an employee of Neath Port Talbot College the journey to and from work takes me fifteen minutes some days, wheras if i travel the same distance in the evening it takes me five minutes. Neath College has an excess of two thousand staff and students converging on this area at the same time daily. The spider effect this has already is cause for concern without another few hundred being added. The council, as always, doesn't see the bigger picture. Ask the bus companies what delays they encounter because many students who catch public transport arrive late. |
| 65 | Matt O'Grady | |
| 66 | Tina Joeph | There is enough traffic in this area as it is, to have more would make the roads unbearable. |

| 69 | CARL JONES | THE ISSUE WITH TRAFFIC,LETS NOT BEAT AROUND THE BUSH ITS GOING TO AFFECT ALL AREAS FROM LONGFORD/SKEWEN TO CAEWERN,CADOXTON,ETC,YOU NAME IT AND IT WILL AFFECT MOST PLACES(AS A RESIDENT OF WOODVIEW TERRACE I HAVE A GRAVE CONCERN FOR THE ELEMENT OF PEOPLE WHO WOULD USE OUR ROAD AS A SHORT CUT HOME (ITS HAPPENING NOW)I FIND IT STANGE THAT THE WOULDNT USE ON OF THE FIELDS TO EXPAND THE SCHOOL BECAUSE ITS GREEN WEDGE BUT THE COUNCIL ARE WILLING TO BUILD HOUSES ON THEM,THIS GREEN WEDGE AREA WOULD BE BESY SERVED AS A NATURE RESERVE THE ALFRED RUSSEL WALLACE RESERVE ID SAY,WE DONT MAKE ENOUGH OF NEATHS HISTORICAL SITES,THE ROMAN SITES FOR EXAMPLE,SO LETS START WITH THIS SITE MAKE IT A FITTING TRIBUTE TO A MAN WHO WAS ON PAR WITH IF NOT BETTER THAN CHARLES DARWIN AND HE STARTED IT ALL IN BRYNCOCH! LETS NOT LET THE GREED OF NPTC RIUN IT ALL,ITS NOT JUST 4OO PLUS CARS,THINK ABOUT IT,200+ HOMES EQUALS AROUND A £1000+ ON EACH HOME IN COUNCIL TAX REVINUE,THATS WHAT NPTC ARE REALLY AFTER. |
| 70 | john warman | i fully support the action taken by the bryncoch residents in defence of their green wedge, the countryside is to important to allow development on it ,the removal of the green wedge in bryncoch violates all the priciples of good planning policy and principles which the neath port talbot council has sought to protect in the past, i take the view that if bryncoch loses the green wedge it will have a domino effect with other green wedges in the county also falling to development. |
| 71 | Anonymous | I think that it is vital to preserve areas of land such as this. There are already far too many houses in the Neath area many which are lying empty . Money should be put into restoring these for buyers and not build new houses on such precious land. |

| 75 | Cheryl Rees | I think it is distigusting that this beautiful piece of our countryside should even be considered for housing! It should be preserved and cheerised as part of the natural beauty that we are so lucky to have. |

| 78 | Susan Mayers | I feel strongly that this area should not be developed. I live on the main road in Bryncoch and the extra traffic would be HORRENDOUS, not to mention the loss of some beautiful countryside which is a pleasure to live by, otherwise if this is developed we might as well be living in town. LEAVE BRYNCOCH FARM ALONE. |
| 79 | Anonymous | As a resident of Rhos, I have already seen an increase in traffic over the last few years. The addition of further houses in Bryncoch will only make the problem greater, it is not only the volume of traffic but also the speed at which the traffic (cars, buses, motorbikes) travels. There have been a couple of fatal accidents along the A474 over the last year, and that is too many.
NPTCBC will make a large amount of money from this development, particularly from Council Tax. The houses themselves will probably not be affordable, but expensive with gardens the size of stamps - this does not help the housing market, as first time buyers will be priced out again.
In the current state of the global climate we should also be looking to preserve our green wedges/ belts of land before it becomes too late.
The only winners if this development goes ahead will be NPTCBC. |

| 83 | Sian Stone | Having lived in this area all my life of 36 years, I am dismayed to see how much countryside has been 'developed' since I was a child. The areas I used to enjoy visiting are now gone, replaced by roads and houses. I feel a sadness for my 2 year old child who will struggle to find any green areas to play in, and will have to nowhere to go to see what nature is. Therefore having this nature reserve would ensure our children will have a small part of the countryside left. |
| 84 | P G Conway | in addition to ecological and historical significance I firmly believe that this area cannot sustain additional housing, not least because ofthe additional traffic load |

| 94 | Bethan Gill | It is a ridiculous thought for houses to be built on this area. We hear on the news the damage of global warning, we teach our children the effects and affects of global warning, how to look after our environment, and Welsh Culture and HIstory. It is ironical to see local government going against the teaching implications of our next generation and think nothing of destroying natural landscape. I wonder at times whether our children of todays society should be educating the government!! We are we encouraged via the media, government legislation to preservate and conserve. Come on Neath Port Talbot - can't you see the irony of this!! |

| 96 | Anonymous | I have lived in and loved this village all my life and as a proud NIMBY i would like it to be preserved as it is for future generations. There are going to be 4,000 houses built in llandarcy starting at the end of the year so why do we need any more? I hope that the majority of people signing this petition will take it seriously and not regress to name calling. |

| 99 | A J & G GILL | Neath/Port Talbot Council appear to have no concern for the Environment or the Residents of Rhos, Bryncoch or Dyffryn Clydach Areas.
Not only content with the decimation of the land and ecology, they have also agreed to put our livehood at risk along with the installation of The Gas Pipe Line. |
| 100 | Anonymous | Keep up the good fight, we objected to the development of Leiros and object to the development of Bryncoch Farm. Keep Wales green. |
