Name: Ian Wilson on Sep 22, 2009Comments: Speedway in Birmingham has been an important part of the history of the city. The sport is for all the family and the supporters are well behaved and promote a friendly atmosphere. There are not many public places where you can feel as safe, be entertained and meet new friends and such community resources should be protected. I would urge the council to take a close look at.the community they serve and allow planning permission for this great club to continue to retain a much needed venue for speedway..Flag

Name: Martin Jones on Sep 22, 2009Comments: Birmingham Speedway MUST be kept open. Local authorities should be embracing any facility that offers family entertainment. Where else can youngsters go and meet their heroes up close in a safe and friendly environment Birmingham Speedway actively encourages youngsters to attend - at least it gives them something to look forward to, and keeps them out of trouble.Flag

The council should support the POSITIVE sporting environment that speedway racing brings to Birmingham.Flag
