Name: Debra And Martin Bertulis on Jul 4, 2010Comments: I have been a visitor to Laugharne for over twenty seven years now. I call it my spiritual home, and I truly believe there is nowhere like it on earth! There is a very special something which draws us back several times a year. A visit pacifies for a couple of months, until we feel that "pull" again! What we love about Laugharne is that "what you see is what you get". There is no pretentiousness; the people are kind, warm and genuine, and like their village, they are just themselves. We remember Browns when you could sit where Dylan sat, and it was a vibrant place to be, with the characters to match. It doesn't need the leather sofas and the "gastro pub" interior. It did very well all by ityself, just by being itself. It didn't need jazzing up! Again, it was unpretentious. It is part of Laugharne's heritage. It would be wonderful to see it open again. We wish you well and will keep in touch. We'll be back! All Good Wishes, Debra and MartinFlag
