Watching this momentum grow gives me real hope that my sister and other women here will not have to travel so far for care much longer. Seeing so many neighbors join this effort proves that we refuse to accept this dangerous reality for our families.

We need our hospital back. Simple as that.
Ridiculous. Expecting families to just drive an hour away for something as basic as birth is just wrong. FIX IT.
Tax dollars go to this hospital and we get nothing. Bring the maternity ward back now.
What if there is a complication during the drive?? So dangerous for the moms and the babies. This needs to be a priority.
My wife had to drive to the city for our last one and it was a nightmare. This hospital needs to start doing its job.

An hour drive while in labor is completely insane. Anything could happen on the highway. We deserve better care right here in town.
