We ask that the Brookfield Board of Selectmen establish an ordinance in order to insure the health and safety of it's future citizens as follows: That before any house can be sold the home buyer must have a certified independent test done on the water of the home to insure it does not contain high levels of radon, uranium and other carcinogens as has been found in many of the wells for homes and condominiums in Brookfield. This test must be filed with the town before the home transfer can be effected in the town clerk's office.
