Name: Stuart Hadley on Jul 27, 2010Comments: The ability to have a good public transport link with Birmingham and Worcester is essential for the growth of the town. As many people commute to these area. When I explain how bad the current station is to people living in and around city areas they are in disbelief that it is so outdated.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jul 28, 2010Comments: We need these improvements to encourage more trains to stop at Bromsgrove. There is already overcrowding at this station at peak times and a lack of trains to take workers south of Bromsgrove.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jul 28, 2010Comments: I fully support the building of a new railway station, long overdue. We presently do not have a station. We have a platform, its awful in the rain and because the platform is so short the longer, and more frequent, trains can not stop. Trains are always overcrowded and I often resort to the car on cold or busy mornings. Please give the go ahead.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jul 29, 2010Comments: The current train station is completely useless to people with disabilities and mums with buggies. For the size of this town, we need a new train station that up with the times and doesnt prejudice against people who cant use stairs etcFlag

Name: John Wilson on Jul 29, 2010Comments: My wife and I are regular travellers by train. Because of the lack of disabled access to the existing station, we have to use a taxi to either Longbridge or Birmingham stations to get to our train.Flag

Name: Roy Pearce on Jul 29, 2010Comments: The current station is restricting the economy of the town. It also encourages more car usage as a) the parking is totally inadequate b) train services are restricted by the size of platforms c) the lack of ticket office puts people off - using a machine at peak times is frustrating. Please ensure this badly needed facility goes aheadFlag

Name: Susan Morley on Jul 30, 2010Comments: Railway station Upgrade is desperately needed for Bromsgrove, car parking places to get cars away from residential roads and reasonable parking charges so they use the spaces. Trains are infrequent, and at peak times very full. Stopping points are few, and whereas trains used to stop at nearby places such as Barnt Green, they no longer do. Bromsgrove has suffered a second rate service for too long and it MUST have the upgrade.Flag

Name: Mrs Janet E. King on Jul 30, 2010Comments: The new station allowing longer trains to stop in Bromsgrove is an absolute necessity for the future economic and social prosperity of our town and long overdue. As a transition town we need to reduce our carbon footprint and to encourage more travel to work by public transport. Please help us to achieve this aim.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jul 30, 2010Comments: It's about time that Bromsgrove's station is improved. There is a lot of pressure to use public transport, and in places like London where there is good infrastructure that is more than possible. However, what Londoners forget, is that that infrastructure is not available to all. Currently, the car is the only viable option for me to travel to the places I need to. If there were more frequent trains, travelling to a greater number of desinations, then we can effectively reduce the congestion on the roads.Flag
