Con-Ed students should graduate with Faculty of Ed

We, both consecutive education students and concurrent education students, believe we should have the right to a combined convocation. Concurrent Education students should be allowed to graduate at the Faculty of Education convocation.

    7 years ago Comments: I believe that con.ed students should be graduating with the faculty of ed. students as well have spent the last year together and have created a bond that has now been broken as we are unable to graduate as a whole class. We have spent the last few months learning about being a team and supporting each other and by having separate graduations Brock University is going against everything they have taught us in the faculty of ed. In addition any classmates from other faculties graduated last year therefore we would be graduating unfamiliar classmates versus being given the opportunity to graduate with our classmates whom we've spent so much time with over the past year and with our professors from the facultly of education. This descision to have separate graduation dates was an error and should be rectified. What was the purpose of us voting if the University already had its mind made up
