Name: Raymond Logan on Apr 24, 2006State:Country: CAComments: This bi-lingual is just way over the top. Quebecers don't worry to much about having english on their labelling so I don't understand why we bend over backwards to have french on ours. As for british imported goods, that's just ridiculous.Flag

Name: J P on Jun 2, 2006State:Country: UKComments: French peasant lunatics in French-Canada discriminating against non-french food labelling eh, no great surprise to me though it has to be said. I've got them living on my doorstep (the French) and have seen plenty of strange behaviour in my time to be surprised. The French have got a major chip on their collective shoulders it would seem. perhaps its about time we (The Anglo-Saxons) seriously considered re-taking the French part of Canada, and deporting those that don't wish to live in peace back to their peasant homeland.Flag

Just let them in! We have to travel over two hours to this shop and I want the goods there when we arrive. Thank you ElizabethFlag

Name: Isla Rothn Ey on Jul 3, 2007State:Country: CAComments: We have a little Scottish Shop in the Oshawa Centre. Our suppliers did not have many of the products this spring due to Canada Customs holding everything up, thus our business was affected as well as our customers! Any of the European shops can carry the same products that we have imported and most of them don't even have English on the labels, let alone French! How is it that they can get away with it and not us Brits A double standard for sure!Flag
