British Citizenship for Kristian Kinnon Scotland's rising star in Taekwondo. He has been doing TKD for only 3 years and has a Black Belt. He is the current British Champion in the Cadet Group. Kristian was born in the Philippines, but has since been legally adopted by his Scottish Father. Kristian is 13 years old (he will be 14 on 17 July) and was invited to participate in the European Championships taking place in George this month but had to decline as the Home Office and UK Borders Agency have held his passport since 24 JUNE 2010 when his mum applied for new visas for the family. Obviously Kristian was broken-hearted. The Borders Agency made errors with the family name, appointments for Biometrics, etc. Whilst Kristian will be able to travel once his passport is returned to him, he will need visas for each country he wishes to visit. He is the son of a UK citizen and my nephew. He needs British Citizenship NOW. Kristian is a future Olympian and Commonwealth Games Candidate. He is a charming, down-to-earth, well-mannered boy and a joy to know. We have contacted media, Prime Minister, MPs, MSPs, Sports Council and various other bodies. To show them how strongly we feel, and we mean business and are not giving up, please sign the petition. SUPPORT KRISTIAN NOW. HE WANTS TO REPRESENT HIS COUNTRY - GREAT BRITAIN - AND WILL BE A GREAT AMBASSADOR FOR BOTH TAEKWONDO AND GREAT BRITAIN.
