The Petition

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors failed to apply for more than $10 million in federal funding from a program that could have created thousands of jobs.  In fact, this program has created more than 30,000 jobs across California, but none in San Diego.  The federal government is in the process of extending this successful program for another year.

We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our Supervisors to correct the mistakes of the past and fight to bring our fair share of funding to San Diego and create good paying jobs for San Diegans.  We call upon our Supervisors to be prepared and apply for this vitally important funding when it is renewed.
