Television has become so bland in the last decade that it has become impossible to find any of the classic old horror films being screened anywhere, even on the BBC. Years ago, BBC2 would screen regular horror double bills on Saturday nights which featured cult movies from Universal, RKO, Hammer Films and beyond. If you'd like to see these films back on the box, please sign this petition and tell your friends to do the same!
The old horror movies were the best.
love, love. love the classic b and w's!!!!!
Myself, family, and friends ALWAYS watched the horror double bill on Saturday nights! We looked forward to it all week!
Derrick Gill10 hours ago Comments: It would be great to get a late night double bill of some good/bad old movies from horror genre of 1940's to 1970's on a Friday night say.(assuming there's any left that SKY don't own the rights to).
Arthur McCausland1 day ago Comments: We need Horror back on BBC Two - the line up now is so boring. Give us some fright for our Saturday night.
Peter Sydoruk7 days ago Comments: I agree I'm totally fed up that both BBC & ITV no longer show classic horror, SCI-FI, film noir etc. All we get are fork out your money shows, News etc. Use to enjoy a weekend horror and classic films at Xmas. BBC now show them at 6:00am in the morning and ITV has just given up providing entertainment after 11:00pm. Rare treat to see a b/w classic Night of the Demon on 4. Even ITV4 won't show b/w episodes of the Saint, the Avengers etc. We need to get the horror channel on Freeview TV and Film 4 etc to show old movies at night, not just in the afternoon!
