The purpose of this petition is to gather signatures to present to Scripps Health in support of a formal public request to reinstate Dr. Robert Biter’s staff privileges at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas effective immediately. Dr. Biter’s privileges were unexpectedly suspended on Friday May 7, 2010, leaving Dr. Biter with no medical facility to deliver his many patients’ new babies. We believe that as a “Baby-Friendly” and “Green” medical facility, Scripps should support and encourage not only Dr. Biter’s natural birthing techniques, but also the many loyal Scripps patients who are affected by this very unfortunate situation.
