To Mark Davis, Reggie McKenzie, Amy Trask and the entire Oakland Raiders organisation: Super Bowl XXXVII was a dark day for the Raiders, made especially so when our star center Barret Robbins disappeared the night before the game and was later found in Tijuana having gone on a drinking binge related to his bipolar disorder. In recent times, it has come out that Mr Robbins' condition may have been exacerbated by dramatic last minute changes to the Super Bowl gameplan and his own domestic woes. Mr Robbins himself has undergone some well-publicised struggles in recent years. However, he has recently begun to turn his life around. In recognition of this, along with the closure it would provide for one of the darkest days in Raider Nation history, we call upon the Raider organisation to invite Barret Robbins to the Coliseum for the first home game of the 2013 season and have him light the eternal flame before kickoff, in honour of our late and fearless leader Mr Al Davis. In addition to these reasons, we believe that many sufferers of mental illness would benefit massively from seeing Mr Robbins lighting the flame, as he is a living example of how one who suffers from mental illness can turn their life around after hitting rock bottom. For these reasons, we call upon Mr Mark Davis, Mr Reggie McKenzie, Mrs Amy Trask and all involved in the Raiders organisation to support this idea and bring Barret home.
