For so many years now viewers of "Emmerdale" have watched the rolling green hills in the opening titles of one of the longest running British soaps. The opening titles featured everything that was quintessentially Yorkshire; quintessentially "Emmerdale". However this was not to be as on May 30th 2011, the viewing public were "treated" to the new restyled opening titles which included a new theme tune. This petition is to call on the producers of the soap to reinstate the old opening credits and theme tune to this long running and equally loved piece of television.
