We respectfully put it to the offices of Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council, in thier capacity as members of the British Council of Accession, to please consider in good faith the following proposal: Re-instate the sadly forgotten tradition of celebratory banquets following a royal coronation, with particular importance placed upon resuming the role of The Queen's Champion (currently Lieutenant-Colonel John Lindley Marmion Dymoke, MBE DL) to ride into said banquet, flanked by the Lord High Constable and the Earl Marshal, challenging all present to deny the new sovereign. Why? This is a tragically lost piece of our nations great and noble heritage, sadly missed out on previous occasions. It is felt that with the nation's support and love of the royal family at a glorious peak, the time is right to re-instate these, and other, great procedures and traditions for the benefit of the State and people of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.
