| 652 | KAY HAGAN | Sam is intelligent, graceful, kind, incisive, and respectful even as he is an astute critic of this political and social moment in our country. We need this sort of discourse—not snide adolescent ranting. Plus, Sam has served AAR well through thick and thin. Give him the opportunity he has earned, and allow him to grow the loyal audience he has cultivated. |

| 654 | anthony lentini | What are you people thinking?
You have the Woody Allen of progressive talk radio under your nose and you are NOT putting him on air?
Are you afraid of success - what gives? |
| 655 | John Lafeber | My wife cried at the end of his last show. Doesn't that show Sammy's importance? |
| 656 | Valerie Taylor | I listen to Sam Seder from the U.K. and if Air America has any sense of loyalty to its listeners they will give Sam his own show...the others are
rubbish. |
| 657 | margaret lane | i will go where sam goes . i like marc too |

| 659 | Anonymous | Originally I thought Randi Rhodes, Mike Malloy and Lionel were (at best) occasionally entertaining and/or informative. However, the more I heard them, the more they became annoying and/or boring, until I just quit listening to them.
For me, starting with the Majority Report, Sam Seder's humor and intelligence came thru and allowed him to provide shows that were usually informative and always entertaining. Sam is one of the few radio personalities that has only gotten better the more I hear him. He deserves and has earned a daily (3hr, daytime) show, 5 days a week. Please don't allow this special talent to slip away.
--- Good luck. |
| 660 | Susan | I couldn't agree more - Lionel cannot hold a candle to Sam. Lionel's show is dreadful. I never miss a chance to hear Sam whetehr on Sunday or when he is guest hosting. |
| 661 | terry | For me Sam Seder is AAR. Without Sam there is no AAR. Its becoming apparent AAR does not listen to what its members want. I'd hate to say good-bye to you, but right now there's not much left for me to listen to. |
| 662 | susan feinberg | please please please, give sam the daily slot. frankly, until ron reagan denounces his father's awful tax policies, i will not listen to him at all. and belzer is fine, if you want to hear a celebrity interviewing other celebrities and patting themselves on the back for how important they are. rosanne is ok too...if that's all you want. sam is the entire package: smart, entertaining and well-informed as well as well-connected. bring sam back now, please. |

| 665 | carol DeLong | Listener since the days of Al Franken and Randi Rhodes. Had the deepest respect for AAR. Now they've moved on and taken promising career moves. So what's left?
Cedar was. You need people who check their facts and speak truth to power. Talent is good too. Or are you trying to kill the great experiment dead? Sorry to see it. Hope you get back on track. |

| 667 | Sondra Fabe | Love Sam. Keep him anyway you can. |
| 668 | Anonymous | STOPPED LISTENING TO AIR AMERICA BECAUSE I COULD NOT TAKE THE TONE OF THE SHOW. MADE ME SICK |
| 669 | Anonymous | Sam Seder is a great radio host; I enjoy his knowledge of the topics that he discusses and he's got a great sense of humor. I listened to Lionel for a short time but I found his thoughts to be too scattered; it was difficult to follow him. Please give Sam more air time. |
| 670 | Anonymous | Drop Lionel!! Bring Sam back!! |
| 671 | ted musson | Too often left thinking has the depth of a left sing-along. (3 chords and monosylabic words)
As a musician and further left thinker than any of you american-haulocaust deniers and 'we invented everythingers' i resent both.
Rather than attacking one of the wittiest and brightest minds on the air why are you not CONSTANTLY asking "how did a buddy of adolph hitler ; his banker/backer no less get elected to the senate and produce a son and grandson who became very likely the two worse and most blood-soaked presidents in your sorry history?"
It's probably unfair of me to point out that you remind me of the old cartoon that made the rounds the last time you-all tried to remake the world in your post genocide, post slavery, post slave-breeding, post native and slave, murder / torture / rape and incarceration, americanization of everything. The caption for the cartoon was "I THINK SEE YOUR PROBLEM"
For the record I think I see your problem.
If you must attack why not focus on someone with a teen-age delivery that gets into her romance / non-romance life who interupts, cackles, and berates idiotic. You already have too many broadcasters with illiterated names: why add another.
And finally...what is that, is it ironic, or just plain stupid, finishing a screed like that with the phrase 'insecure pedant and desperate intellectual poser' |

In case you haven't figured it out this is a non-agreement to your sad petition. You need Lionel by any name, way more than you need Redundant Rants. |
| 673 | Anonymous | I could not agree more - give Sam a show (and fire Kuby - he is another Lionel) |
| 674 | Steve | the Lionel is junk, bring back Sedar |
