Your vanity shows are not helping. Like Lionel, they are unlistenable.
Return Air America to what it was promised to be. First step - show Lionel the door and put Sam Seder back 5 days a week. Second - on air apology to the audience for your attempts to push Seder out and subjecting audience to Lionel. Third - on air apology to Randi Rhodes. Fourth - on air apology to Mike Malloy and pay him the money that is due him. |

I got hooked to him on my own and when I found out he was gone and a Lionel took his place, I was surprised, particularly after listening. Lionel is some kind Montezuma's revenge and he makes my head hurt too. Bring back Sam! |

So much is happening now, and he has a way of distilling events, getting right to the most important points and presenting them in a way that just shines with intelligence. And Sam's sense of humor has no equal. He is a true entertainer as well as teacher, and a true progressive. And above all, he is a kind and decent person who gives consideration to each and every caller. As you can tell from these comments, Sam has endeared himself to a very large audience. We love him and want him back every day!!!! The replacement for Sam in no way measures up. Lionel's style is abrasive, he seems to be on a short fuse. He doesn't hone in on the important stories of the day; instead just goes to some willy nilly topic, blathering away, in love with the sound of his own voice--and insulting those who call in. It's just impossible to listen to. Did I mention that I miss Sam terribly? Please please bring Sam back on a daily basis!! Do it for yourselves and for Air America and for all of us out here hungry for real news and smart analysis of these incredible events that are taking place. |

I listen to Sam's show in bits and pieces--not through AAR--but the site I found him on isn't always updated with the latest show. It was so much easier when the whole M-F workday lineup was high-quality: Rachel, then Turks, to Franken, then Seder, to Thom. And when Springer was on the same time as Seder, I'd bounce back and forth. Too many good hosts was better than not enough! Bring back Seder weekdays 9-12! |

I heard him one night when he was on with Jeaneane and a particularly nasty caller had gotten on the line to ask Sam if he was a "Jew" and was Seder a "Jewish" name. If that had been me, I don't know if I could have been as civil as Sam was. He has talent and important things to say. Put him back on the air! |
