    Comments: Nowadays a murder will serve time in relative luxery with all mod cons, for 20 or so years if unlucky! PLEASE can us decent folk have some proper justice? Look at the murder rates in Britain per head of population before and after hanging was abolished. You will that Hanging WAS a deterrent.

    Comments: A clear message needs to be sent that you cannot just take somebody's life. Capital punishment is a prevention, and it works. How can people who have lost a child to a rapist killer get closure without capital punishment. At least give the relatives the choice!
