While others came and went Elixir stayed and served me well - a regular heterosexual guy with a penchant for great hair care product. Since the untimely discontinuation I have tried nearly a dozen other leave-in conditioners...you could have had that money - hell, i could have bought two of the overproced bottles on ebay by now. please bring it back. really, please. with sugar on top. seriously. i am writing to you about leave-in conditioner, doesn't that tell you something about your business plan great. thanks, matthew stillmanFlag

I have no idea what I'll do when it runs out. I buy no other Aveda products as I am on a tight budget, but I'll ALWAYS have money for Elixir. It is the only product that tames frizz and makes permed hair nice and silky but not sticky or stiff. I feel betrayed and do not see why you would discontinue a superb and good selling product which brought so many customers into your stores. Please bring it back or sell the formula to someone who will.Flag

I was told by Aveda Customer Service that Elixir was discontinued because it was thought that it wasn't selling enough. But then Aveda/Estee Lauder realized it was a very good product for the money -- a good value. Instead of keeping it, we're being asked to buy a replacement at many times the cost. This is costing you loyal customers. Please show your loyalty and appreciation for your customers, and provide good customer service, by continuing this popular item. Suzanne HurtFlag
