This petition is quite simple. I\'d like to convince the folks at Aveda, now owned by Estee Lauder, to continue making the Aveda Elixir Daily Leave-In Conditioner. I\'ve been using this product almost daily for several years. There is no other product that can replace Elixir. It was one of a kind. 8/12/08 - Again, a huge thank you to all who are signing the petition! I continue to check this petition every 2 days or so... and am always so pleased to see new names and anecdotes. I decided to send another email to Aveda this week, with a link to the blog... and this is the response that I received: Dear Meredith, Thank you for taking the time to contact Aveda. However, in the meantime, I did want everyone to know that Aveda responded to me. Unfortunately, it is kind of a \"canned\" response. It is certainly not the intention of Aveda to disappoint any of our consumers by discontinuing favorite products.
