With each generation the level of respect and value towards women is drastically decreasing. A big part of this is the music industry. The music industry encourages women to be idoled as property and items as opposed to real human beings. What started out as simple entertainment has now been accepted into the norm in behavior and talk. Women should be looked at as equal and not as servants put here to please men. The music industry should not be encouraging men to think that they can treat women disrespectfully and women should not feel as though this is the norm. If we do not get the downgrading of women out of the music industry, the next generations will be raised believing that women are not of equal value and history will repeat itself. I believe that men and women were created equal and as a woman I refuse to be disrespected! Who will stand with me?
