There are many talented artists in many different cities in the USA that go unrecognized for their contributions to the art of Spoken Word/Poetry. Many make their careers off travelling the country and world to spread their words. Words that touch people and have changed lives of many. A Spoken Word/Poetry artist doesn't need to be famous in order to make a change or difference to the world. A Spoken Word/ Poetry artist is an artist because they love what they do. They write what we feel, have experienced, want to say and do. They are the epitome of greatness. Not many can do what they do they way they do it, this why they need to be recognized nationally for all their hard work and efforts.
