Move to a 0% corporate tax rate Why: 1. Individual Tax receipts provide the vast majority of tax revenues and will continue to with an expanding population. It will provide further growth when unemployment is lowered because companies expand and/or return to the US for the 0% corporate tax rate. 2. Higher tax rates increase the use of tax havens, which leads to lost tax revenue (corporations excel at this unlike the average citizen). 3. Companies spend precious resources trying to lower their tax rates. A 0% corporate tax rate will give companies more cash to use as they please. The companies can expand, pay higher salaries, or invest it = higher individual tax receipts. 4. A 0% corporate tax will limit the lobbying efforts of corporations to: looking for handouts, affecting regulations, etc. But not for tax loopholes! Additional measure: 1. Buffet Rule: Tax all stock options and dividends of company employees at the ordinary tax rate.
