    Comments: While I will go to see Days of Future Past as I want to keep up with the X-Men franchise, I will be disappointed if James Marsden is not brought back as Cyclops. It was horrible that Brett Ratner killed him off in X3, and it's horrible that the character is taking a ridiculous and unfair beating in the comics right now while other characters who've done far worse are being hailed as wonderful heroes. It would be a crime for the movie franchise and its writers and directors to continue to punish both actor and character by not writing him into the script with a far more substantial role than he's been given in the past. There -are- more heroes besides Wolverine, after all, and Cyclops is one of the best of all of them. More Cyclops, more Marsden.

    Comments: It is rumored that James Marsden will return as Cyclops in "Days of Future Past", but I'd love to hear an official confirmation from director Bryan Singer, Mr. Marsden, 20th Century Fox or anyone involved with the movie that Cyclops will indeed be back. Since we never saw Cyclops actually die in "X-Men: The Last Stand", which gained the ire of a lot of X-Men fans, it'd be very easy to bring him back and give him a bigger role in a future sequel as the leader of the X-Men fans know and love.
