There are dozens of wonderful political, ethical, and environmental causes and petitionsout there. This is not one of them. This is about bringing back a much beloved television show for One. Final. Season.

Gilmore Girls. Who didn't love the fast talking mother daughter duo, the town of quirky inhabitants, and believable family dynamics? The series shone under the guidance of producer Amy Sherman-Palladino, right until the end where she ceased to be a part of the show. The new staff tried, but it was obvious that the spark was missing. The final season had a thrown together feel, that strings and story lines were hastily tied together. It just didn't do the rest of the series justice, and left the audience wanting.

I move that we bring back the series. Not for a reunion special, and not with the expectations of a dozen more seasons. Just one season, to tie up those ends and catch up with characters that we grew to love, and invited into our homes every week. Did Luke and Loralei have kids? Where is Rory working? Is she dating or married? How are Richard and Emily? What about Sookie and Jackson? How is Lane and the band, not to mention the twins? There are so many questions left unanswered. Gilmore Girls fans deserve to have that closure.

I think this is a perfect time to bring back the perfect storm of Amy Sherman-Palladino, Lauren Graham, and Alexis Bledel. Lauren is just coming off of her stint with Parenthood, and the rest of the cast (minus Logan) is not heavily involved in other series.

So sign your name, and pass it on! I know I'm not alone in wanting just a little bit more of Stars Hollow, and I think it's time it happened!
