Would you agree that the healthy food choices out here are slim? We are offered cheap processed and pesticide-riddled food by the super markets in our immediate area, and have to travel too far west for organics, at additional expense. This petition is being issued by a new resident who was a decades-long customer of Fairway Market, choosing their excellent selection with great pricing over the best of any markets available to NYC. I don't think anyone would complain if TJ's established a site further east, but Fairway is almost as economical as TJ, while providing the selection and quality of whole paycheck and other gourmet chains. If you have never heard of Fairway, then head to Plainview when you need to stock up, and you'll be as convinced as I, and will sign this petition then.
