We the fans have started an online Facebook and Twitter movement to get the cult hit series Twin Peaks back on television! The fan base has more than tripled since its abrupt cancellation in 1991. The series finale left many plots unresolved and many more questions unanswered. With the introduction of the show on Netflix and DVD, a whole new generation of fans have experienced Twin Peaks. Most of these viewers were not even alive during the original broadcast run. The time is right for creator David Lynch to bring back the greatest masterpiece that has ever graced the small screen! Shows like Lost, X-Files, Nip Tuck, and The Sopranos all owe a huge debt to Twin Peaks. TV was not ready for all of the supernatural elements of it in 1990-91 and the time slot changes that ABC imposed on it was a huge blow to its budding fan base. However, many dead shows are being resurrected on Netflix and Direct TV such as Arrested Development. Even shows like Dallas and 90210 have gotten rebirths..why not Twin Peaks? The time is right and the movement is getting stronger by the day! It's time to bring back Twin Peaks!
