The Miami Dolphins this season have been celebrating their 50th anniversary all season long. In the off-season they gave the fans a sneak peak with an image of the 1966 helmet indicating that a throw back jersey game would be part of the festivities. Sure enough when the schedule came out the Miami Dolphins had a Monday Night game in which they will come out in the 1966 alternate "Throw Back" jerseys.

The Miami Dolphins switched their logo to a more sleek lighter looking Dolphins in 2013. Completely changing the old logo and lighting up the colors a bit. This didn't sit to well with the fans because it made our Dolphins look weak. The new Dolphin looks more like a whale than anything else but in time we the fans have gotten used to it.

Moving on the 2015 season we got more and more picture of what the new throwbacks would look like and people fell in love. It wasn't until the Monday Night game when the team came out in their old colors that people really started talking about a change.

I think that trying to improve the look and go for whats new doesn't always work. The old logo was great, people loved it and it symbolized a time of greatness for this franchise. I say that we go back and make it ours again. We love our Dolphins and our history, what better way to honor that than by going back to the logo that started it all.

I'm all for change. We tried something new with the uniforms and it was ok. It did look like something you would see at sea world. I've been a fan for 20 plus years. The old logo is what I remember and grew up knowing and I feel we should bring it back.

The current Miami uniforms are bland, boring and leave out the key classic features. ..i.e...the colour orange, stripes and of course the classic logo. Changing these features over time discredited an otherwise classic style. Change is not always for the better.

This is what legacy and pro football is all about. This uniform is how in part I fell in love with pro football. The leaping dolphin in the sun with the orange M helmet is synonymous with the league and should be a cherished staple in the league not to be ignored

New isn't always better. Let's get back to basics and winning again with the original Miami Dolphins logo. Ahhh memories of the Orange Bowl and csonka, kiick, warfield, Moore, the Marks(duper and Clayton) Marino and of course Don Shula!

I don't hate the new logo, but the throwbacks last night are far superior. Do the Raiders, Cowboys, Packers, or Bears change their logos? Hell no!!! Slight modifications are OK, but the old logo, and colors are timeless. Please bring them back....to stay!!!
