In 1975, Mattel made a series of cloth dolls with vinyl heads called the "Honey Hill Bunch". They depicted a neighborhood of friends. There was Solo (a black girl with a guitar), Sweetlee (a girl who liked baking), IQ (a smart Japanese girl), among others. The dolls hung out in their Clubhouse, which was what the packaging called "their place to plot, plan, and play". They had a vehicle called the Rickety Rig, which looked like a bus and could be converted into a pickup truck, while the extras made a lemonade stand. There was also the Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream Parlor, which came with the dolls Bunny Baskin and Richie Robbin.

In 1978, the toyline ended for no particular reason. Now, it's 2014, and we want to get them back! This means a redesign, new dolls and playsets, and an animated cartoon akin to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The characters will look older, still have a clubhouse, and still ride in their Rickety Rig. Bunny & Richie will be back as well.

So, people of the 1970s who grew up with the Honey Hill Bunch - give some signatures. I'll give this to Mattel.
