I have been reading through all these messages about why you are frustrated by the network decision because honestly it feels like people are just afraid to let anyone have a different opinion these days. My inbox is totally overflowing with stories from folks who just want to watch their show without all this extra baggage attached and I promise I am trying to keep up with everyone while I figure out the next step for us.

I cannot believe how fast this is moving though it feels like only yesterday I was just hitting publish and hoping for a few replies. We are creeping up on that first thousand mark so if you have a second please get this link to someone who might care because seeing that number tick up is the only way A&E will even blink at us right now.

I was looking at the total sitting there just waiting to flip past that first hundred and it really feels like people are waking up to how wrong this whole situation is. Can everyone grab their phone and send this link to a few people real quick because we need to show A&E that they cant just silence someone for speaking their mind without dealing with a massive storm of pushback.

You obviously weren't paying attention to Phil the entire time. He is honest and true to his beliefs. While many may disagree with his opinions, (including myself on some), we should be tolerant of his faith and the era in which he was raised.
I stand 100% with Phill! I believe A&E is wrong for taking him off air but not taking off the other shows that are far worse than anything i have seen. It is their right as americans to stand up and say what they believe in. I support yall! BRING PHILL BACK!!
I thought everybody is intitled to their own thoughts and beliefs. The way it sounds A&E does not like someone speaking their mind. Then maybe Duck Dynasty should look for another network that believes in freedom of speech.

The 1st Amendment gives him the right to express his beliefs. As a network that has made a ridiculous profit from those of us who LOVE THIS FAMILY...I expect you to stand behind The entire Robertson family. Do NOT turn your back on them now!
Ridiculous. I do not watch the show but I read the GQ interview... which I'm pretty sure took place in the USA of which Phil is a citizen and protected by inalienable rights of the US constitution. The man answered the question and though his beliefs differ from mine, he is as 'free' to express them as I am. He was not being hateful, just honest. This is incredibly stupid on the party of the network.
I am signing this petition because even though I believe the love shared by Gay and Lesbian people is no different than the love shared by a man and a woman, the comments made by Phil were not incendiary or hateful. He was simply, honestly answering a question posed to him by GQ. Actually, Phil's comments were probably the best I've ever read from those that share his beliefs. They weren't hateful like those idiotic Westboro Baptist Church fanatics. He was polite, he was well-spoken, and he stated what he believes to be true. Honestly, even though I disagree with his beliefs, we could use a lot more people like Phil in this world.

His hiatus from A & E is unfounded. I thought we lived in a country where free speech is one of or founding principles. He should be allowed to have his own opinion. Did he misquote the Bible? He was quoting a book that was written over 2000 years ago! Lighten up!
