Bring her back. She improved and evolved way more then Sarah had. The role of Black Canary was meant for Katie K.
The show has shown so much negative fan service to push the romantic storyline with felicity, when it should've focused on the superhero aspect that can still be put with felicity, but would've kept laurel as a popular character that will always push new narrative with a rich decades of stories that are tagged along with her and Oliver. We understand the show is different from the comics, but there is such thing as killing an important person from comic book mythology in order to push a romantic plot that isn't needed.
Need the actress and BC back on the show.
Bring back Katie Cassidy to play Dinah Laurel Lance.
A character should be killed off if the story needs it, example: The death of Sara had the purpose to motivate Laurel and turn her into The Black Canary, it had the purpose to create a MAJOR CHARACTER. At first we didn't know that Sara would be back from death, so the story made sense anyway... but now?! They use the excuse of "adaptation" to justify the bad use of certain characters. Adaptation or not, you can't kill the Black Canary off. I LOVED SmallVille, some people criticize it, but I liked it a lot, because even if it was an adaptation, it had the same atmosphere of The Flash, it was a true Superhero show and they didn't kill off someone like the Green Arrow for example. Also, Oliver Queen married Chloe, ok...but Chloe was 1000 time better than Felicity. I used to like Felicity before all the Olicity drama was shoved down the throat, now I can't stand her anymore and the death of Laurel Lance made things even worse. The producers need to save the show asap, before it gets cancelled. #SaveArrow #BringBackLaurelLance
I love her character and Katie Cassidy is an amazing actress. I hope this is not the last we see of her in the Arrowverse.
I believe her death should be fake and make a twist. That after her near death experience have her forget who she is and have her go dark for while. Overall she needs to come back,

A major character in Green Arrow canon should not be killed off. Kill off minor characters only. Bring Katie back as Laurel Lance/Black Canary.
