Comments: On this Thanksgiving Day, I hope that the Y leadership can find it in their hearts and minds to reinstate Didier who has contributed so much to so many in our community. He is a true Yogi, and follows his teachings with a spirit that is unique and needed. As a Christian organization, I would hope those in charge would allow us all to continue to benefit and evolve. This election brought out some raw nerves the days and weeks after and I. Sense Didier has been unfairly dismissed after twelve years in our community,, in these circumstances particularly. So many are losing out to a small few who have obviously been choosing to be with Didier. THEY should move to another teacher, not the teacher be evicted for their limited benefit.

Comments: I am in absolute dismay that Didier would be let go. I have attended his yoga classes for the past 10 years - and his class is the sole reason I have kept my membership. Please reconsider your decision to let Didier go.

Comments: Didier's class at the YMCA made me first feel welcome in the area as we moved to Ponte Vedra 4.5 years ago. His warm, personal, multi-level, spiritual and physical teachings made me bend my schedule to attend his classes. Of course I enjoyed his french background blended of indian and american culture that made him so interesting to listen to even when he called on me in the middle of the class as the other frenchman. I always felt that his presence generated loving kindness among his students and wish him a promt return to the benefits of the Y values and their members. Amicalement,

Comments: Didier is an amazing teacher! I can't imagine him not teaching yoga at the YMCA. He inspired me to try new things, and I don't think I would've gotten so hooked on yoga without him.

Comments: Didier taught me to live life as it is and to respect the souls of others through the discipline, dedication, and spirituality of Yoga practice. This is similar to christian belief and teaching as well. How can someone that brings such passion for life and tolerance be let go? He is the only reason for me to attend the YMCA anymore and I will be seeking his guidance and teaching no matter where he goes. It is sad that intolerance, opinion, and ignorance can affect so many positive coexisting lives in such a heartfelt manner. His skills, "joie de la vie", and wisdom are only a loss to the Y, not those who truly respect his teachings.

Comments: I travel all over the world and try to hit Yoga classes while traveling whenever possible. Taking classes in other countries and all of the US has made me realize how blessed we are to have Didier as a Yoga instructor. It is quite rare to find someone with his depth of knowledge and ability and who can create a physically demanding class while also bringing in an element of meditative and spiritual healing. Losing Didier from the YMCA is a terrible blow and I hope that he will be reinstated!

Comments: Now that I am teaching High School full time, I can't go to the Y during the day anymore, so I get my workouts by running in the morning. The only reason I was going to keep my membership was for Didier's Friday night YOGA class that my friends and I LOVE!

Comments: I had the privilege of taking yoga classes with Didier at the Brooks YMCA, and I am saddened to find that his employment there has been terminated. Didier is an amazing instructor, and has been instrumental to my growth, development and commitment to yoga. His instruction goes beyond the classroom, and extends into the practice of life! I am a better employee, wife, mother and friend because of the lessons I have learned while on my mat. Didier has been nothing but a pillar of support and inspiration to me.

Comments: Didier is not just an ordinary yoga teacher - he is way more than that! His passion and his outpouring heart is very much dedicated to yoga community here in the First Coast of Florida. He had a big influence on me to transform and the others from a good person to a better person. It would be a completely loss if the YMCA will not bring him back.

Comments: Didier is not just an ordinary yoga teacher - he is way more than that! His passion and his outpouring heart full of love towards the world of yoga is unmeasurable! He has a genuine spirit within and people need to know him first before judging him right away. He is a big contributor of theories and learning curves of yoga to the First Coast YMCA. Yoga is all about non-judgmental! I hope YMCA will reconsider bringing him back to the community.

The sharing of his personal experiences and stories are part of his charismatic personality. My own spirituality was heightened, creating positive change in my life, during my time as Didier's student. Comments: As a visitor to the area and a loyal member of the YMCA in another city, I have often enjoyed Didier's yoga classes in Florida. Friends told me about his exceptional classes and I found them much higher quality than any other Y I've been to and even dedicated yoga studios. I am so disappointed to hear that his classes have been cancelled because of a few people. His classes were the reason I came to the Y in Florida and I have no wish to return now.

Comments: Please bring Didier back to teach yoga at the Winston Family YMCA... he has made a million comments about inspiration, children, love, respect and being a yogi which were taken by nearly everyone as good experiences... maybe both Didier and the person who complained should have a conversation to resolve the issue... isn't that what the YMCA is suppose to do, bring people together and make them better?
