Reaching this point has been exhausting but I am grateful to see that I am not the only one grieving the loss of our community spaces. It is clear that the connections we forged on that site continue to matter even now. We keep pressing forward despite the silence from those in charge.

If comments are removed, then why would their still be an "add friends" option since there is no way to connect or talk with other people. There was a sense of community. A society, Now it is just millions of people playing the same game, but not together.
There's this one Pottermore account that has been my close friend since I went on Pottermore. We encourage each other to earn points for our house and we comfort each other when we fail. We have been very good friends, but when Pottermore takes away the comments section without notice, we cannot even say goodbye! Please bring the comments back!!
Please bring back the comments. Not having the comments ruins the whole point of the website. It's very hard to find the motivation to earn points anymore. :(
They took away the best part of Pottermore! I don't see how this is supposed to make the site safer, all it's doing is ruining existing friendships in the Pottermore community. The chat rooms were our only place to communicate and it's been taken away from us :,(
Pottermore is a site where I met people who started meaning so much to me, they're now part of my daily routine and better friends than I could ever imagine. I love them all so much and it hurts to know that I won't be seeing many of them back, unless Pottermore brings the comments back.
The new site is BORING!! Bring back the interactive site!!
Taking away what Pottermore was has taken away the magic and the friendship that was created there. If the creaters and moderators of Pottemore have any value in these things than they should bring back the ability to interact with others on the site!

Pottermore comments was a place where a new comer to pottermore could go if they needed assistance, tips or guidance, or had questions, the answers to which weren't (and still aren't) provided by the pottermore website itself. Taking that away removes that assistence and takes away from the initial pottermore experience. Also, while old pottermore users still have the friends they previously met on Pottermore, new comers no longer have the ability to make friendships there and get to know other users. While I see there is a good reason for it, I believe the benefits go above and beyond in outweighing the risks, and that pottermore is still a perfectly safe environment with the commenting areas..
