Dear CTVglobemedia, The last season of Canada's next top model aired in 2009. Today I am taking a stand to bring back the series. Canadian models have the power to change the fashion industry. A huge issue facing society is the way we perceive beauty. Young people everywhere are faced with this false idea of aesthetic beauty. Women need to be a size 0 to 2, and be over 5'6'' tall. These are impossible expectations for many and it's time to take a stand. Our country's diversity, passion, and individuality gives us what we need to make a difference. By focussing on these aspects of the industry, I believe the show can be a huge success, reaching audiences of all backgrounds, ethnicities, shapes and sizes.
