Every Saturday night we always watched America's Most Wanted since it first came on the air. One of the major networks canceled the show after many many years. It created a firestorm of support for AMW and John Walsh. Lifetime picked up the show. AMW finished the season. John Walsh told us that they would not be returning in a weekly format, but would have a special every few months. We looked forward to the specials. AMW has not been seen since.
