The heroes have moved on, passed, and are scattered across the country.

The old dome has fallen to dust.

But we all remember where we were, when lightning struck here. When greatness rode on our shoulders. Greatness lived here, against ALL odds.

The Minnesota Twins won two of the most competitive and contested series in sporting history. This is in complete contrast to the indescribable heartbreak we've suffered from our other franchises.

And yet, the home of the Minnesota Twins, Target Field, has almost NO NOTICEABLE banner or mention of these championships. There is literally only one painting on a building in the ballpark, which is hidden from the view of thousands of seats.

To not acknowledge the only two championships in major Minnesota sports, of which both went all seven games, and one was called literally 'The Greatest World Series Of All Time' is an absolute TRAVESTY!

This petition is aimed to bring awareness to this issue and petition the wonderful Minnesota Twins organization to build a prominent banner that highlights those great accomplishments for ALL to see in our beautiful stadium!

P.S. It would be a great idea to hold a contest across Minnesota high schools to design the banner (just saying).
