Name: Alan Ross on Apr 15, 2009Comments: This needs to be implemented quickly and before the Bridport Waste Site closes. I also think that the Travis Perkins land should be purchased for parking together with road safety measures. I think it would not only be a traffic disaster to have Lidl but also a disaster for small shops in Bridport due to the items that Lidl sells and to encourage people in they do sell many items at a loss which would put other shops out of business in this recession.Flag

Name: Susan Ellen Ross on Apr 15, 2009Comments: I think that Gore Cross is the best option and should be started immediately especially as the waste site at Bridport will be closing and being disabled would not be able to travel to the waste sites available at present as I am sure would be the case for many of the elderly and disabled.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Apr 16, 2009Comments: since I moved here 3 years ago this issue has been discused. I am not yet used to the local culture of discussions which go on for ever without action. The current site and council depots should never have been in the main town and both ought to be resited out of town leaving more room for carparking. The recycling centre is much too small and badly designed. Hurry up and start buildingFlag

Name: Ian Poyser on Jul 16, 2009Comments: A new HWRC and waste transfer station is long overdue and urgently required in the Bridport Area to manage waste and recycling more sustainably and contribute to a reduction in CO2 emissions released as a result of current inefficient and expensive waste haulage practices . I fully support this campaign and urge all parties to work closely together towards a solution at Gore Cross.Flag
