We the undersigned petition of Delaware County, Dept. of Public Works to restore teh Bridge located on Bridge Street in Fleischmanns, NY to a full service bridge suitable for vehicular and pedestrian traffic. We do understand that the county is under financial pressures, however: the loss of the use of th is bridge has greatly diminished our village. Located between the east & west entrances to our village, is is "the" vital center connection between our, historic distric of beautiful Victrian homes, the Fleischmanns public swimming pool & ball field to th ecore business district on Main St. the local community & visitors to our village both drive & walk to these homes & facilities & is important that they be able to continue todo so via the bridge.
